MATT BIELER is a highly accomplished director born and raised in Southern California. His films push emotional boundaries told from various perspectives of film craft. Growing up if he wasn’t on a basketball court or a concert stage he was probably running around the city with his camera finding his next short film. He started his career working with the iconic filmmakers at A Band Apart, Gorgeous UK and Anonymous Content.

He quickly broke into the ad sphere known for his powerful storytelling and sports centric films and has since helmed commercial spots for clients all over the world including Apple, Adidas, Bose, Samsung, Modelo, Hulu and Heineken – he’s also worked with celebrities such as Benicio del Toro, Stephen Curry, Anderson Paak, Rakim, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Misty Copeland to name a few. When he’s not shooting commercials he’s making personal and socially charged films. As he always says “I love the work” and will never turn down a good slice of pizza.
