EMMANUEL ADJEI is a Ghanaian-Dutch acclaimed filmmaker and creative director, whose work has explored the realms between film, music, and visual arts. With a primary interest in multi-layered dramatic narratives, Adjei’s work interrogates concepts of freedom, displacement, power, and spirituality, told through his poetic and cinematic lens.
Adjei’s career has been marked by successful collaborations with a variety of global names such as Beyoncé, Madonna, FKA twigs, Sevdaliza, Zendaya, and Willow Smith, as well as brands such as Tiffany & Co., Mugler, Lancôme, and Hugo Boss. Adjei holds a BA in Fine Art from the Utrecht School of the Arts (NL) and attended the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (BE) where he studied Film. He is currently based in Los Angeles.
