HALEY ELIZABETH ANDERSON is a writer, filmmaker and visual artist born in Houston, Texas and currently residing in New York City. Her debut short film Pillars premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival and went on to win the Best Short Film award at AFI 2020.


She was named as one of Filmmaker Magazine’s ’25 New Faces of Independent Film’ after her second short Summer Animals won the Jury Prize at SXSW 2021. Her work explores themes of personal history and identity, often examined through a global lens and through collaborations with non, or first-time actors.


Now having worked on advertising projects with some of the world’s leading brands, Haley comes full circle as her debut feature film Tendaberry premiered at Sundance 2024 and was nominated for the prestigious Next Innovator Award.
